Here are a few pictures of the second baby I photographed at my workshop in DC.  I typically don’t blog this many images but there were way too many really cute pictures and I had a very hard time deciding which ones were my favorites so I added a few more than usual.  How gorgeous is this little girl?!?!

The last time I saw this family Miss E was only 6 months old and sat still for the session while Mr. G was all over the place.  This time the roles were reversed and I spent my time chasing Miss E all over the place.  My thighs are feeling it today!  Here are a few shots of the gorgeous family.

Last month I had the chance to go to Washington DC and attend a workshop taught by the amazing Amber of Little Moon Photography.  I have “known” Amber online for many years and have always loved her photography so I was really excited to finally be able to meet her in person and learn some things.  It was a trip that nearly didn’t happen because Hurricane Irene decided to interrupt the weekend but thankfully after some last minute scrambling and flight changes I was able to make it out there and just had to spend an extra night in a hotel and had to ride out the storm while I was there (I’ve seen worse thunderstorms here so it really wasn’t bad).

Amber was just as amazing as I expected and I am in love with the shots that I got while I was there.  Here are a few of my favorites from our first baby of the day.

J & M came in a few weeks ago for another photo session.  I usually photograph them every 6 months or so and I love seeing how much they change each time.  The first time I photographed them they were 2 and 4 and it was like herding cats!  Trying to get the two of them to take a picture together was quite difficult but they are like pros now!  They are two of my favorite models.  Miss M has gorgeous eyelashes (can you believe she isn’t wearing mascara!) and how can you resist little J’s lips!

This little chubby guy came in for his 6 month session yesterday.  He is so cute and how can you not fall in love with all of those rolls and that fuzzy hair!  I also loved that his band was decorated in Cowboy colors so he was already dressed for the game.  Too bad they disappointed us last night with an awful loss!

I’m a little behind on blogging as usual!  I got to photograph this adorable guy on a HOT day in July that happened to be his birthday.  I have known his mom for a very long time and have known A since he was born.  He has gotten so big and looks less and less like a little boy every time I see him.  Here are a few shots from the session.

This sweet little girl is one of my baby planners so I get to see her every 6 months.  Her last session was her newborn session which was one of my favorites so I was looking forward to seeing her again.  She has grown a lot but she is still so pretty!  I love her little lips and her chubby thighs.  Next time I see her she will be a year old!

It has been over a year since the last time I saw this little guy and I can’t believe how big he is.  He was on the move at his one year session but he was even faster this time!  It was great to get to see him again even if it was very, very hot the day of the session.  I am looking forward to fall!

Miss A came in this week for her 16 month session and she was on the go like she always is!  After chasing after her inside for a little while we took her down to the park and got some shots of her outside.  It was about 106 degrees that day so we had to make it quick but I think I got some good shots that mom will like.

It has been quiet around here but hopefully I will get around to blogging again!

I got to spend my afternoon with this little sweetheart yesterday.  I love watching my little clients grow and it is so much fun to see when there are new additions to the family.  I photographed Little L’s big brother when he was a newborn and this time it was her turn for her first photo session.  She is such a little peanut!  I think she has been the smallest baby I have photographed so far but she was so cute and did really good during the session.  I can’t wait to see her and her big brother as they get older.  I’m sure they will be adorable together.  Congrats A family on your new baby girl!
